Keyless Entry System
Keyless entry systems can be an excellent method of securing your rental property without having to use physical keys. These systems allow guests and tenants to access the property through a code or their smartphones. They can also work with intercoms for video and audio communication that offer multiple ways for people to access the building. Certain keyless entry systems are cloud-based which allows them to be managed remotely, and also offer more advanced features.
Keyless entry systems can be installed in any commercial or residential property. First, spare key for fiat 500 has to be installed at every entryway. The system will then need to be set up and managed via a central console or via a smartphone app. According to Technavio the world's keyless entry system market is expected to expand at a CAGR between 2016 to 2022 of 11.8%. The growth in the market is attributed to the growing demand for security systems in commercial vehicles.
Many people worry about being locked out of their homes. Therefore, they usually keep keys in a safe location. This poses a major security risk, since criminals know where people keep their keys and are able to easily locate them. Installing a keyless entry at your home is the best way to prevent this. This will ensure that you won't become locked out.
Transponder Chip
The transponder or "chip key" is a microchip which is built into the head of your car keys. It's among the most important safety layers for your vehicle. The term "transponder" comes from the combination of the responder and transmitter that is why, once the key is put into the ignition and turned on, the antenna ring of your car transmits a flash of radio frequency energy to the transponder chip. The chip responds by transmitting its unique identification code back to the antenna ring. The car's computer interprets this information and decides whether it's a valid or not.
If the key isn't a transponder the vehicle will be immobilized. The chip is protected with an extra layer of polycarbonate which prevents it from being copied or duplicated using regular mechanical keys. Beishir Lock and Security offers an extensive range of transponder key at a fraction of the price of car dealers.
Transponder chips started to gain popularity in the 1980's when GM introduced them in the Corvette. This technology drastically reduced vehicle thefts, as hot-wiring was rendered obsolete. This is the most basic explanation of chip keys. If you have any further questions, please contact us.
Immobiliser System
The engine immobiliser (also known as the anti-theft system) is a key element of your vehicle's security. When you insert your key into the ignition switch or Smart Key fob, the transponder chip inside it sends a code to the vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The ECU ensures that the code generated by the chip matches the one that is stored in it prior to allowing the engine to start.
The immobiliser in your car is designed to prevent theft in this manner. If the code inside the chip doesn't match the code in the chip, the ECU blocks the flow of current to the fuel pump relay and the injection system, preventing the engine from starting. The immobiliser might also disable the starter motor or ignition coil in order to prevent the engine from being forced to start.
Unfortunately this system isn't completely secure. Thieves could crack the code that unlocks the car's immobiliser system, and start it up. The latest versions of the system use a longer cryptographic code that will make it difficult to guess.
Since 1998 immobilisers on cars have been obligatory. However, many cars already had rudimentary systems. While immobilisers make it more difficult for thieves to steal a vehicle it does not stop thieves from towing your vehicle away or breaking into to steal your possessions.
Key Replacement

The loss of a remote or key fob could be costly and frustrating. A locksmith will need to gain access to the vehicle to decode the VIN or run it, and then reprogram the replacement key to erase all previous signatures on the computer for all keys that have been stolen or lost.
A key replacement is more expensive if your car is equipped with a transponder and/or integrated security chip. The chips transmit a signal to the car, which confirms your identity as the driver, and allows the doors to open and the engine to start. The cost of replacing a smart key is $160.
ABUS suggests that you register your key code as soon as possible after purchasing. This will allow you to order spare keys or additional keys easily in the future. This can be done by entering your Key Code on the checkout page and selecting CANADA as your shipping country. You can also register keys using photos of your spare key that you have taken at certain angles.
